Perfect for Bass but also effective in the saltwater scene. The Raptor Slow Fall Jig is a bit different to other slow pitch jigs. Through testing, Hot Bite worked out how to widen the head to give a more realistic fish shape and increase the weight on that end of the lure to give it the perfect balance in the water for slow pitch jigging despite being asymmetrical. The design also takes into account the jig will carry heavier hooks on the head end of the lure. The heavier head gives the lure better casting ability so it is less prone to spinning in the air. In the water, it has the same fall when fished vertically or hopped back to the angler. The jig is well suited to slow hops, fast hops and slow winding. The lures are fitted with quality hooks front and rear and the assists are tied to my own specifications with silicon strands attached.
